I am trying to run Installshield via a remote connection to my build server. When I connect however, and click on IS, it does not start. Any ideas?

Both machines are running 2k3 and I have full admin rights.

I've been doing it for a while with IS 11.5 and never had an issue with it.

Nice one...so I know it can be done, now how to do it?

I have tried turning the 2k3 box into a term server rather than just RDP, still to no avail. Any ideas?

Are you using a VNC-type connection or Windows Remote Desktop? I can't think why IS simply wouldn't run over remote. If you have access to the server, (and if you haven't done this already) I'd hook up a monitor and keyboard and make sure the remote connection is the variable, and not some other problem with IS.

Actually my build server is XP SP2, so I'm probably not any help here. I did notice that there's a recent update available for the Remote Desktop Client:
