Hiya

I've been experimenting with some sourcecode called "databasefunctions" which i found on installsite.org.

The code is installscript, and uses Objects. As there is no help in the helfile about objects, im pretty confused. Does anybody have some info about using objects in IPWI 2.01 ?

There is nothing in the help file for these objects, because the objects aren't part of installshield.  To find references for the objects, look at the windows SDK, or you can find most of them covered on MSDN.  (http://msdn.microsoft.com/)

IPWI only supports a subset of the features of installShield Professional - Standard Edition version 6(IPSE 6). It does support InstallScript in custom actions, but it does not support IPSE Objects (they are somewhat equivalent to merge modules in Windows Installer)
