Hello,

My question is :

How to disable autorepair on Windows 2000 ?

When I install my application on win2000, do something and save data to database. Now I run application again, as database file is changed, auto recovery starts and replaces empty database.

Please tell me how to disable this.

Thanks,
Devang.

You can not disable auto repair for a single product..  The system administrator can disable it for the machine.  As I assert always you are not entitled to break other peoples systems to support faults in yours.

I suggest you find precisely what is causing the auto repair and code your  installaion so it is no longer triggered.

I would guess that the issue is (probably) caused by your "blank" database file being the key file of a component.  If you change your setup so that it is not the key file any more, your problem should be solved.
