Hi there,
i use IS Dev 7 and try to determine wheter my basic MSI will ask for a reboot or not, due to the installation of the included .NET Framework or Installer upgrade. If it won't ask for a reboot i want to execute a installed file, otherwise not.
I tried a deferred CA with the condition "Not ISSCHEDULEREBOOT" but that doesn't seem to work?
Any help would be appreciated.

Conditions of deferred CAs are evaluated during InstallInitialize (or earlier).
Consider changing your CA into a regular (non-deferred) CA, and schedule it after InstallFinalize.
