We are trying to install a Basic MSI Major Update built from DevStudio 9 through Active Directory Group Policy Objects. When rebooted, our test machines end up in a strange state where the application is partially installed - many files are completely missing. We're still trying to diagnose the issue and determine what is happening in order to fix it (or to be able to pose a more detailed question on this forum), so it would be helpful if we could get a log file out of this process. The admin says that GPO doesn't allow for command line parameters, so how can we get a log of what is happening?
Thanks,
Roehl

You can turn on the msi logging policy on the target machine.
