Hi.
The Modules.ini is used as a translation table for the names of merge modules as they are presented in the Redistributables view of the development environment.
When I Add a new merge Module(*.msm) in the "Merge Module locations" , the file Modules.ini is not updated. But, in the view, I can see the name of the last MSM added.
So, I renamed Modules.ini like Modules.ini.old and the Redistributables view in my .ism doesn't change.I have the same views.....
Question : What kind of files manage the Redistributables view in my *.ism ?
If it is modules.ini, Why didn't changed ( no update after adding a MSM) ?

I guess if modules.ini is missing, or a .msm is not listed in the file, InstallShield pulls the description directly from the merge module. (Note: this is a guess, I haven't examined it)
