I have been searching everywhere for info on this, but nobody seems to know. I don't seem to be able to make Installscript code run with elevated rights, it doesn't matter if I set the custom action to run deferred in system context.
It seems to me as if the Installscript engine won't have elevated rights, and hence any script code won't run with elevated rights. If this is indeed the case, then things get complicated quickly
. Does anybody know anything about elevated rights and Installscript? I would be most grateful if somebody can enlighten me on this topic, since it takes a lot of time to test this out by trial and error...
