during my product uninstall, PATH variable disappears sometimes. what condition causes this? any one have experienced this?

Are you modifying or writing to the PATH variable during install? If yes: how?

yes. I take take the value of it from the registry KLM->SYSTEM->CurrentControlSet->Control->sessionMgr->Environment and modify and set it back.
is there anything wrong in this? pl help. tis is very urgent issue for me to solve. Users complain tat when tey uninstall and restart the path disappears. I am using IS 11.5 eval version

Well, InstallSchield doesn't automatically restore registry entries to their previo0us value during uninstall. For a script sample see "Handle PATH Environment on NT" at http://www.installsi...s.htm#PathSetup
