MSIEXEC /x {GUID} /qn
When the CA is supposed to run, I get an "Internal error 2743". For some reason the setup can't execute the CA. Can somebody tell me why? What am I doing wrong?

I've written a CA that will uninstall a previous version of my program if present during setup.

MSI provides a structured way of handling upgrades. Use the Upgrade table and RemoveExistingProducts to do this. See documentation on Major upgrade ins msi docs.
