I have an MSI package built using InstallShield express 3.0 (I think?). I would like to modify and rebuild it using InstallShield X. Is this possible? I'm able to modify the dialog box flow and save the changes, but I can't rebuild the package with new files because the 'Build' button is grayed out.
Thanks!

Can you run the release wizard (CD button) to build a new release?

Thanks for the reply, Stefan.
You have a great site!
I am unable to run the release wizard; it is also grayed out.
I guess I could change the dialog boxes using InstallShield X and use Orca to modify the file info???

Yes you could open the MSI file in direct edit mode.
But to solve the real problem please contact InstallShield support. This might be a migration/conversion issue, and I think they have a migration guarantee.
