Where do I put this function in the help, they say :

"...
Do not call this function from the following event handlers: OnAppSearch, OnCCPSearch, OnFirstUIBefore, OnFirstUIAfter, OnMaintUIBefore, or OnMaintUIAfter.
..."

but they don't offer an alternative !

Is it ok to put it in the "OnBegin" handler ? seems to work ok !

Anywhere else would seem appropriate then, so OnBegin should work just as well as anything else.

However, you didn't mention what the actual function is that you're calling.
