Sometimes when I compile a Pro 5.1 project it creates a file named ~ata1.new. Sometimes the file can be quite large. What does this signify -- should I worry about it, and how can I fix it?
At first I thought the project somehow failed to delete a pre-existing data1.cab file, and when it tried to create the data1.cab for the latest compilation it renamed it to ~ata1.new. But the sizes of the two files are very different -- the *.new file is twice as large!

I'm not sure but I guess this is a temporary file that is only used during the build process.
