MDAC 2.7 SP1 Error

When i install major version i do not get any errors / warnings about MDAC 2.7 SP1. When i create patch from this and install the patch i get the attached error only on Vista. The error is not observed on XP / Windows 7. Note that my installshiled 2012 premier is installed on Vista OS.
Can anybody suggest why i am getting error that too in patch.

How are you installing MDAC? As a prerequisite? Looks like there's a problem with the condition, as the MDAC installer should not be launched on Vista.
