I want to put a dll in GlobalAssemblyCache.
For this I have created a new component added it to a new feature.
Put the destination in [GlobalAssemblyCache]
.NetApplicationFile: [GlobalAssemblyCache]xyz.xyzlib.dll

Now after installation which folder should I check to see the physical location of the file.

I have installed it in my windows2000 profession OS.

Use explorer because this one knows to show a compact view of CAG... if you want to check the assembly folders use DOS.

C:\WINNT\assembly is the path on 2000 is on windowsfolder\assembly
