Install hangs on InstallFinalize

Hi folks,

I have a strange behavior of my setup. If I install from hd everything is okay but if I put the setup on a CD it runs till InstallFinalize and doesn't go on. The setup is called silent from another setup.
Does anybody has an idea what can cause the problem?

If anyone stumbles across this topic I will tell the reason:
it was the self registration of an exe file. Now I register the installed file by calling regserver from a script..
