InstallShield 2010 has advertised support for Windows 7 & Windows 2008 R2.
Does this mean that installer packages created using InstallShield 2008 will not run on these platforms or are they referring to lack of support for integrating specific features of this new OS platforms in the installer package? Thx

MSI Setups created with previous versions of InstallShield should run well on Windows 7. Microsoft put a lot of work in making sure it's backward compatible.
However previous version don't have support for specific features of Windows 7 / MSI 5, and doesn't have entries or check boxes in the IDE for Windows 7 and the like.
