Okay, here's an odd one which I doubt anyone's encountered, but I'm at a loss.
One of our partners is using RapidInstall to re-package our install and the associated 3rd party setups.
For some reason, trying to run our uninstall entry results in the following error:
"The InstallShield Engine (iKernel.exe) could not be launched.
No such interface supported"
I compared their install results to our own and haven't been able to narrow down the offending files and/or registry entries.
The InstallShield common files and supporting InstallShield information is correct. Launching that setup directly also has the same results.
Like I said, any and all help would be appreciated.

I once had a problem with ME and Win2k in that the ikernel was deleted after a reboot on the second install. Strange but true! So, using the OnFirstUIBefore, I stop logging and then copy the ikernel.exe into PROGRAMFILES ^ "InstallShield Installation Information" ^ PRODUCT_GUID and then turn the logging back on. Funky but it worked.
