or are users of msi 2.0 also affected?
I have one prog called:
Program 1.0.msi
the newer version to patch is called:
Program 1.0.1.msi
Is this valid for patching? If anyone knows, please let me know.

If you change the msi file name you must also change the ProductCode, thus making a Major Upgrade.
