1. Should I record the installer for any change in the script or file(s) or component(s) ?

I think you mean re-record it, but that depends.
If you made changes to the actual install wizard then you may need to re-do it. Depends the extent of the change. Changing some wording won't, but re-arranging dialogs or adding additional options/selections would.
Changing files should never really affect it, since nothing is really done on file-by-file basis.
Also, unless you're doing a custom setup or have checks in your script to handle whether certain components are included/excluded, then those too shouldn't affect your silent setup.
