Hi ,
I have a small requirement which i am not able to find a solution for.
In the custom setup dialog i need some features which has to be grayed out from user selection and should only be installed mandatorily , its just to show the user that the features are also installed along with any other selected features. How can i do this?
Please provide a suggestion.

With Windows Installer's standard user interface (i.e. the featuretree control) you can't gray out a feature. But if you set the feature's "required" proeprty to yes, the option with the red x "this feature will not be installed" will not be available to the end user. Note that they still could unselect the feature from the command line so you may want to double check that it's selected, also in case of a silent install.
