Greetings,
Not sure if this is the correct place to post this question. Wrapped up package with IS5.5, deployed it with three other .msi's. First 2 go without a hitch but the last one takes one hour to install. Event Viewer shows nothing out of the ordinary less, package assigned, one hour later, package installed.
My desktops are 2000 Pro, SP4. We will probably go ahead with push as desktops are rebooted at night, thus package install at night, but if lone user left workstation turned off, comes to work and turns on they will be greeted with a one hour install.
Any ideas? This is a smartcard software.
Thanks,

Generate a log file of the install. This might tell you what step is taking so long.

Thanks Stefan,
Just got the tip yesterday, the one hour difference seems to be when the temp files are rolling back(?). We are going to analyze the logs again as well as run some AD pushes with logging.
