I am trying to automate the creation of patches for our line of software products. Currently we use the COM interface to add each product's merge modules to the core install, and I would like to do the same, or something similar, with patches.
Has anyone out there done such a thing?

Adding merge modules to patches? That's not possible. YOu would have to add the module to the new version msi, and build the patch as difference between the old and the new msi.
