Hi,

I wrote a setup which includes the MSDE Merge Modules found on the SQL Server 2000 Service pack 1 CD. I want to change the Instance Name and I used the CA 51 as described in Tools & Tips (Customizing MSDE 2000 Installation) When I run my setup on my windows 2000 pc I get error "The instance name specified is invalid" (I want to use "Juridisk" as the new instance name)
When I run the same setup on a clean windows 2000 or windows NT (via VMWare) i get error "Internal error 2762"
Could anyone  help me out ?

Meanwhile I did some more test with my setup. I removed the CA from the sequence, just to test if the rest of my setup was ok. But I still get the same error. So it has something to do with the Merger Modules instead of the CA 51?
