I have created a new Basic MSI project. I am able to call "MyFucntion (hMsi)" function from some of the dialogs. However I it does'nt get called from a Newly created dialog.
 I tried all possible options, what is that I am missing.

I bascially tried to add a Custom action. From a button  "On Event" from a button I want to call the  Installshield function.

I tried it with Simple New project. It does'nt seem to work.

Check whether you have properly set "first control", "default control" and "cancel control" in your new dialog box.

  Now try calling the install script function using a do action event associated with the required button.
