I have a third party installer (pervasive cosmos data junction) that is embedded into my installer. We launch the pervasive installer in silent mode. Now, sometimes it (Pervasive installer) reboots the machine after the installation is over and sometimes it just does not reboot and ends. This is brining a lot of confusion to our approach. Is there a way how we can force a reboot everytime instead irrespective of whether or not it does so by itself ?

Ask pervasive how they built their installer and which command line options it supports.
Of course you can force a reboot at the end of your setup, by setting BATCH_INSTALL=TRUE.
