I have some articles about how to make an INF which I'll pull out tomorrow when I'm at work and pass along to you. Just information I've archived and never used, but looks very promising.

Have you already read what can be found on InstallSite?
See External Programs and Shell (go to "Install a Windows INF File" there).

Yes
I think it must call windows installer to install .inf but I don't know how to implement this.
But it has following info :
Note: This function is not intended for device driver INF files. I don't know why, but it only seems to work with INF files that include a DefaultInstall section.
