Hello everyone,
I'm about to create a basic MSI installer with InstallShield 11.5. The installer must run on XP, 2K3 and Vista.
From what I read, IS 12 is the version who officially supports Vista.
Can I still use 11.5 and be fully compatible with Vista and its logo requirements? I did some basic tests and it worked, but I'm afraid to hit an major obstacle when it will be the time to develop more advanced functions.
Any advice would be appreciated,
Thanks

Basic MSI setups created with IS 11.5 should work on Vista. I'm not sure if they would qualify for Vista logo certification. Does IS 11.5 support linking to a help document for custom actions, for instance?

Thanks for replying!
Well I'm currently in the process of building a prototype, so I'll try the help document thing and a few other requirements-related functionalities in the first place.
