On some of my dialog the Next button is not the default button, even though the default attribute has been set for the next button. Any Ideas?

Check the tab stop, also sometimes if two buttons are set as default then this will caus a problem.

I had the same problem with a dialog which only showed a summary of informations collected in former dialogs. There were only the std-buttons "Back", "Next" and "Cancel" on that dialog with "Next" being the default button and "Back" being the first control.
Entering this dialog and pressing "Enter" just took you back. It's quite logical, because "Back" had the focus and was "pressed" by hitting "Enter", but at the first look it's irritating because all non-Pushbutton controls simply leave the "Enter" for the default control resulting in "Next".
Solution: I had to set "Next" to be the default and the first control.
