Hi, I'm trying to install software for using my printer (Brother MFC-665CW), and when it starts installing, I get an error message that says "Unhandled Exception - Error Number: 0x80040705 Description: String Accessed Out of Bound. Setup will now terminate". I have already installed this on my laptop and it works fine, but this is happening on my desktop. I read up on it and there's something about a line in the batch file being over 300 characters long. Is there a workaround for this? I'm pretty new to all of this, so step-by-step would be great.

Ideally you should contact Brother as only they would know which string buffer might be overflowing and why.
But you could try to use shorter paths for the temp folder environment variable for instance.
