Hi
I need to create an installer using the new features of Windows Installer 4.5 - that is MSI Chaining. I dont have a license to any installer development tools (InstallSheild, Wise Installers etc). How do I go about doing this using the VS 2008 Setup and Deployment project and/or is there any other way to implement this stuff.

Please consider using Wi or one of the other freeware MSI tools. See http://www.installsi...g/go/msidev.htm for a list.

Thanks for the reply Stefan. By "Wi", did you mean Windows Installer (SDK)? Or is it some tool? Can you recommend any open source tool which supports Windows Installer 4.5 MSI chaining feature. Thanks again.
