Does anyone know how/if it is possible to create an installation for a 64 bit AMD system?
Windows Installer only supports Intel64 and installations will not work on a 64 bit AMD system.
any ideas?

Actually, the value of Intel64 will work on the AMD64 builds of XP. Develop following the guidelines provided for IA64.
Search MSDN.MICROSOFT.COM for more information on writing MSI for 64-bit operating systems. There is alot of good information, especially in regards to hybrid 32/64 bit applications.

However, I cannot get it to work with "Intel64" on the Win 64 os...
I finally had to create a 32bit install while leaving the template field blank.
