Just finished upgrading to 7.01 and tried to make our project and received the following error:

Fatal Error: Error merging MDAC25 with module ID H:\ProgramFiles\InstallShield\Developer\Objects\MDAC25.Msm

We do not use the MDAC25 merge module but we do distribute the DAO360 MM which has dependency on MDAC.  We distribute MDAC through a custom
action b/c the MDAC MM was a piece of junk and caused massive hangs, and installed twice for no reason...Installshield confirmed this to be
a bug.

Now we can't even get the project to Make.  Any ideas besides retrying the MDAC 2.5 MM....We have the MDAC dist working correctly with a custom action and I am reluctant to change it at this point.

You could modify the DAO module to remove the dependency on MDAC module.

Thanks Stefan.  I had never modified an msm before; I removed the dependency and the project now builds.
