Can't remove reference to a Source for a custom action

How can I get rid of all references to a stale "Source" in the custom actions wizard. By mistake, I specified a bogus file name for a CA source in my project. The file name has an invalid format and does not actually exist. Now my project will not build (Error 1024) because this reference persists somewhere in my project environment (it still shows up in the drop-down list of sources in the CA wizard). I can find the reference by opening and searching the .ism file but I cannot find a way to remove this in the IDE.

If you were including the source file in the binary table, then there is probably still a reference to it in there. Use the power editor of ISWI, select the binary table, and see if one of the entries in the data column matches your stale source.
