patch does not work second time?

I have managed to make myself an MSP which seems to be doing everything i want - and i am hoping to make it removable.

However i have noticed some weird behaviours when it comes to the patch.

If i install the patch, it works...then uninstall the patch it seems to work...but if i try to install the patch again it says it was successful - however it does not add all the files.

Then after this - if i attempt to uninstall the application - it will say it has uninstalled successfully - but will leave all the remaining files in the application folder.

Any clues as to what might be going wrong here?

edit: i would attach the patchremove log but it seems to be a few 100kb too big...
