Hi!
I'm kind of new to this field and i have a question:
Can i somehow build an installation package, install it, delete a file and prevent windows installer from repairing the installation? I use Installshield Developer 8.01.

Try :
1) Create a component
2) Add your file mentioned to this component (DO NOT set as the key path)
3) Add some other file / registry keys component and set any as a key path
Test the installation, delete the file and windows installer will not repair on shortcut launch. But repair will happen if you force it thru ARP or msiexec /f command.
