<newbiealert>
I have a component that is dynamically linked to a folder. This folder contains a few subfolders, which were automatically also linked to the component.
In one of the subfolders is a file I would like to designate as the keyfile for the whole component
To achive this, I:
1. excluded it from the dynamic link
2. added it to my component
3. designated it as the key file
This works fine, except for the fact that the keyfile was added to the main folder of my component. I want the keyfile to be in its subfolder, not the main folder.
Suggestions very welcome
Thanks.

Don't use dynamic linking to add sub folders. InstallShield will create additional components for them on the fly* which can cause problems when you try to update your setup.
* This is a Windows Installer requirement: all files that are in the same component will be installe dto the same folder. So you need separate components for different folders.
