Hi there,

what i am trying is to do as MSN does, lanuching myapp.exe after myapp installation.

I can lanuch notepad.exe, but i can't launch myapp itself.

Who can guide me through? pls detail steps and settings. because i already tried any settings before.

You will need to create a custom action that will run an executable installed with your product. You can reference the [destiation] that insatlled the executable to.

You might do well to use the "Launch Executable" custom action type rather than running an Installscript with LaunchApp / LaunchAppAndWait.

I tried to make an application launch at the end of the setup for quite a while using Installscript and it never worked. When I switched to the "Launch Exectuable" action it worked right away.

I suspect the reason Installscript custom actions don't work from the "setup complete" dialog is because the Installscript engine is no longer running.
