I have an installshield X Installscript installer with a number of Merge Modules. The built single file install is about 31Mb in size.

Suddenly between two builds the install drops to 19Mb and fails during the install whilst installing the merge modules.

I have had this happen on a number of systems and at different times. In the past I have managed to fix it by deleteing the release folder in the media folder, deleting the Merge Modules component in the Objects pane and re adding all the merge modules.

This time this didn't work. It did build once OK to 31Mb but the next time I built it, and every time since, it is back to 19Mb.

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a bug to me. Contact InstallShield support and provide steps to reproduce.
