Hi, I have a feature called "BASE" with an attribute of 8. It is the parent of another feature called TEST
However, when I de-select the feature in custom install mode, I notice that the feature 'BASE' gets installed because all of it's components that are linked via the FeatureComponents table are installed.
Here's what the log says.
MSI (s) (98:74): Feature: Base; Installed: Absent; Request: Local; Action: Local
Any idea what I'm doing incorrectly? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Strange. Do you have a AddLocal control event on the Next button of the dialog?
