Hi
I tried creating patch for Basic MSI project.
I created 2 release of my project Release 1.0.0.0000 and release 1.0.0.0001
After that I built the patch successfully.
After patching the application, the version of my product in the Add/Remove Program is changed from 1.0.0.0000 to 1.0.0.0001.
My question is
Is it possible to built a patch for 2 releases with the same version?
I mean I create 2 different release, but I don't change the version.
Therefore after the patch, the version remains the same.
If possible.How to do this?

Yes you can do this by keeping the same version number for your second release.
