Hi All!

A Question for you :

I can not to work the DoAction ControlEvent ?

Let me explain :
my intention is to build a custom dialog with a series of controls, in particular, a pushbutton, and his behavior must use DoAction that actives a Custom Action.

in the custom action, i use the function SdShowDlgEdit1;




Why it does not work?

have suggestions for me?

Maybe it's related to this (very old) known problem: "Setup Hangs During MSI API Call" at http://www.installsi...bugs_isd800.htm

Which version of InstallShield are you using? Around version 2010 the InstallScript architecture was changed to use less COM so the problem may be gone in the latest versions.
