I have a setup program developed in InstallShield 6.0.
Recently i have downloaded InstallShield DevStudio 9. I had then converted this project into version 9. My aim of having 9 was to create a small update patch. For creating update patch, it creates a BaseImage. But inmycase it does not? Could someone please let me the reason so as to why this happening?

Sorry, I don't quite understand this. If you want to create a patch and your setup is compiled into an EXE file, extract the files first by runnint the setup.exe in administrative mode: setup.exe /a from command line.

Did you convert it to a Windows Installer (MSI) project type?
