I have a customer who has found that someone has been changing his setup.inx to remove the serial number check.  They start the install, don't clcik on anything and then replace the existing setup.inx with a modified one the evidently skips the serial number check.

What are some good ways to protect against this?  Does IS have anything built in that I could use or does anyone have any suggestions?  I'm using IS 6.3.

Thank you.

Thats some sourt of customer....

Try to build a packed version of your installer, so the files are not that obvious to find.
The problem is, that they still would be able to copy the files after running the setup and save them away before deletion of IS. Then they are able to use the unpacked version.
For this the only solution I could imagin would be to use codesigning with an official certificate of your company!!!
