Hi All,
I have changed registry keys location in the new version.
In previous version it was HKLM\Software\ProductName\1.0 and it was changed to HKLM\Software\ProductName\2.0
I am using the upgrade table to check for the previous versions which we want to uninstall.
This is working fine, apart from the fact that registry keys for the old version are not being removed.
They are removed fine under a normal uninstall, but not when doing it with an upgrade.
Has anyone came across this as well, and if so could you give me some adviceor ideas?
Regards,
Kiril

Firstly, you should try running the install in verbose log mode to see if that returns an anything.
Next, you may also need to change the component GUID so the the old entries are removed.

Many thanks for the help, all wonderfully works.
I also hope, that my other problem with the empty folders that remained after uninstall upgrated version,
will be solved in the same way.
