I agree with you.
And the 7.01 Release Candidate does, unfortuanately still contain a lot of bugs, that have previously been reported in 7.0. - And a few new of course :-(
I've just installed the RC on WinXP (build 2600) and I am not satisfied at all.

Please be sure to report these bugs to InstallShield. Hopefully at least some of them will be fixed in the final 7.01.
