I have a Basic MSI installer that contains a dialog with dropdown list boxes. When running within specific environments the dropdown list does not drop down, but you can cycle through the options using the up and down arrows.
So far this seems to work on 2003, XP, and some 2000 systems. Many of these images are running in VMware images. So I'm not sure if it's the OS it's running on or something caused by the VMware image.
Has anyone seen this type of behavior with dropdown list and if so, what was the cause?
Thanks
-Shawn

Increase the height of the drop down box (by factor 10 for instance). I believe this is a bug in MSI or the OS - the height is interpreted differently in some OS versions.
