All, I have a project with a large number of files (37000) I have created the msi with the appropriate schema but have an issue (obviously why I'm posting...). There is an errant file in the package that I need to remove from the file table in the msi directly. I use adminstudio (installshield) and it cannot seem to display the file table (all I see is a -1 number of rows). I could use ORCA to remove this file, but I would like to keep this install as a setup.exe so that I can cache the entire msi (with cab streamed internally) using the webcache... property. Any suggestions? THANX in advance for any help!

Please search the InstallShield knowledge base. I think I saw an article that describes how to increase the number of files that are displayed, or a workaround.
BTW depending on your AdminStudio version, the .ism project format is based on the msi file format so you could edit the project file in Orca.
