Hi, is there a way I can run MDAC when the user first clicks on the setup.exe? what I need to do is that in order to install the .NET framework 1.1 one of its requirements is to have MDAC 2.6 or higher so I want to install that before the .NET framework.
any ideas?

There seems to be merge modules for this http://support.insta...ticleid=Q105164 http://support.insta...ticleid=Q109806 . I assume you can include the merge module, install the .NET as well, and things would work after reboot... Well, maybe not - must be getting an optimist in my old age. Anyway, it might be worth a try.
