A little background... I'm trying to insert a checkbox with a text attribute in one of my installer panels however I am running into a small problem.

The dialog bitmap background is white and when I insert the checkbox, the text portion appears as the default windows dialog box gray. How do I change the background of the checkbox?

I've pretty much checked everywhere in installshield but could not find a solution.

Also, I find it odd that when I display regular text over the the dialog bitmap background, the background of the text control appears to be transparent and the gray doesn't appear. This is the desired behaviour that I want to have with the checkbox.

Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

btw, i'm using installshield developer 8 with sp2.

It's strange that you are seeing this in a InstallScript MSI project. This is a known issue in Basic MSI (a bug in MSI)
