'[' ']' characters in registry values

We require to have '[' and ']' in our registry values. However, when InstallShield sees them it tries to substitute with an expandable variable. Is there a workaround that InstallShield leaves the string untouched? We're using InstallShield for Windows Installer Version 1.52.

Try [\[] and [\]]]
